Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) Screening

If you experience leg discomfort when you walk that goes away when you rest, you may have peripheral arterial disease (PAD). Diagnosis is made by comparing the blood pressure in your ankles to the blood pressure in your arms, a painless procedure utilizing a blood pressure cuff and an ultrasound Doppler. This screening is for people older than 50 with a history of smoking, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart attack or stroke. Registration is required.
